The Community Investment Tax Credit is a tax deductible credit used by the state of Maryland to incentivize capital donations to Non-Profits.
The Community Investment Tax credit allows for the forgiveness of 50% of your charitable donation of or above $500 Dollars, which gives you a break on your taxes while letting you support a Non-Profit who is participating in the Tax Credit Program
